Discover the beauty of Spring in Korea

Day 1              Honolulu – Seoul                 
We start our vacation by boarding an international flight bound for Seoul, the capital of South Korea. Meals and snacks will be served on the plane.

Day 2              Honolulu – Seoul      (D)
Upon arrival, a Grande Holiday representative will greet and transfer us to Downtown Seoul. Enjoy the Welcome Dinner at Suraon Restaurant with traditional performance. After dinner, we will check-in to the Hotel.

Day 3              Seoul – Jeonju     (B, L, D)
We start our tour by visiting Korean Folk Village, the home to numerous collections of Korean cultural artifacts. After lunch at Dong Chun Hong, we will transfer to Icheon Pottery Village, an important place to represent the Korean ceramic culture, which has brilliantly flourished for about one thousand years. Then we proceed to Jeonju, an important tourist center, famous in Korean foods and historic buildings. One of its famous food is “Bibimbap” which is also famous all over the world.

Day 4              Jeonju      (B, L, D)
We will take a full day city tour in Jeonju starting from Pan Asia Paper Museum(Hansol), which is Korea’s first Museum specializing in paper, and a data-base documenting the history and superiority of Hanji (Korean paper). We will have a chance to know about the Korean people’s excellent cultural heritage-Musical Instruments. Then we will visit Gyeong gi jeon, the place where the portrait of King Taejo Yi Seong-gye is enshrined. After lunch, we will tour Hanok Village, the largest Korean Village with various traditional cultural facilities in downtown area; you can really experience the traditional culture and know about Hanji Mulberry Paper Craft at Hanok Village.

Day 5              Jeonju – Busan      (B, L, D)
In the morning, we will depart to Busan and Boesong Tea Plantation & Tea Field, that has the largest tea plantation in the country. We will then visit “Daehan Dawon,” the most beautiful green tea field in Boseong. In the afternoon, we will visit Jinhae, its annual cherry blossom festival every spring is famous in South Korea. We will then visit Jinhae Naval Academy and Mt. Je Hwang San Park.

Day 6              Busan – Jeju       (B, L, D)
Today we will fly to Jeju Island, also known as “Island of Gods”. It is the volcanic island with its scenic natural beauty, unique cultural traditions and temperate climate. We will visit Yongduam Dragon Head Rock, which was created by strong winds and waves over thousands of years. After lunch, we will explore the Mysterious Road, Manjanggul Cave, Jeju Folklore, Natural History Museum and enjoy the Korea’s flower on Yuchae Flowers’ Road.

Day 7              Jeju        (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we will enjoy a full day City Tour from Seongsan Sunrise Peak. Then visit Seongeup Folk Village, the best preserver of ancient Korean traditions. Afterwards, we will go to Seopji Koji, located at the end of the eastern shore of Jeju Island. In the afternoon, we will visit Miniature Theme Park, the largest miniature theme park in Korea. We will also tour Teddy Bear Museum, where you can find everything you want to know about Teddy Bears! Then we will enjoy the beautiful view of Sambangsan Mountain.

Day 8                        Jeju – Busan – Gyeongju       (B, L, D)
Depart for the airport and fly back to Busan. We will then tour Gyeongju City, the 1,000 years old Capital of the Shilla Dynasty. We will start our city tour from Bulguksa Temple, which was named as a world treasure by “UNESCO”. Then we will go to Seokguram Grotto, a hermitage and part of the Bulguksa Temple complex. Lastly we visit Tumuli Park, the park has more than 20 large and small tombs from the Shilla period.

Day 9             Gyeongju – Wonju         (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we will visit Uiseong Apple Wine Winery, you can experience the making of the apple wine and take home a sample of your work. Then transfer to Andong, the place famous on mask dance and Hahoe mask. We will start tour from Andong Hahoe Village, a traditional village from the Joseon Dynasty. Then visit Mask Museum, it is the only mask in Korea that is designated as a national treasure. Afterwards, enjoy the ride on Chungjuho Lake Cruise.

Day 10            Wonju – Seoul        (B, L, D)
In the morning, we will visit Hongseong Kimchi Factory. Then we will go to Nami Island, a very popular place among Koreans, and can be seen in most Korean dramas. After lunch at Chuncheon, we will start tour for Nami Island. Afterwards, transfer to Seoul and visit Namdaemun Local Market, the largest and oldest wholesale market in Korea, you can find particularly everything here with affordable prices.

Day 11            Seoul         (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we will visit Yanju MBC Theme Park for Jewel in the Palace, the first drama theme park to open in Korea. After lunch, we will visit Gyeongbokgung Royal Palace, the main palace during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). One of five palaces in Seoul, it has a 600 year history. Then we will go to Insadong Culture Street, one of the most memorable attractions in Seoul and represents the focal point of Korean traditional culture and crafts.

Day 12            Seoul – Honolulu       (B)
After breakfast at hotel, enjoy and spend the last minute shopping. In the evening, we drive to the airport for your return flight home ending your fantastic tour of Korea.
